ITINERARY
From your hotel, we hit the coastal road and head to Son Tra peninsula, drive off-the-beaten-track toward Monkey Mountain peak to visit the former heliport and radar station built by American air force in the past, these are the best locations to capture panoramic views of local fishing village and Pacific Ocean. If we are lucky, we will meet the endangered colorful monkeys, they are rare and shy. Then we visit the tallest Lady Buddha Statue in Viet Nam (68 meters), which locates at Linh Ung pagoda and stands at halfway of Monkey Mountain overlooking Da Nang city and My Khe beach (a.k.a China Beach during Vietnam War).
Continue our drive to Hai Van pass, the most scenic coastal road in Vietnam, featured in BBC’s Top Gear show as a must-see when traveling to Da Nang. Winding mountain roads invite travelers to experience hairpin turns and take in the breathtaking views of mountain ranges with white sand beaches and Lang Co bay underneath. This army strategic location creates a unique impression that cannot be found anywhere else in Vietnam.
Later on, we visit the Blue Lagoon and take pictures of fascinating oyster farms and houses on stilts of local fishermen. In winter days, we enjoy lunch in the local restaurant on stilts with the breathtaking view of Bach Ma national park in the distance. In summer days, we have a tasty home-cooked lunch and enjoy lovely swim at the waterfall where the locals hang out, so make sure to bring swimsuit and towel with you. After this awesome adventure, we drive back to your hotel.

REVIEWS
From start to finish, we had an amazing tour in the army Jeep. Ben is a great tour guide. He is good at explaining the history and culture of Vietnam. A total pro. This was the highlight of our stay in Hoi An. I can only recommend it. Even though we didn’t get the chance to see the rare monkeys, but the journey out there was all worth it. At the Lagoon we got to visit a fisher family leaving a simple life on the water. Very kind people. Ben takes care of you all the way. Thanks Ben!

5 Stars!!
Simply a magnificent experience. Ben is the ultimate guide; friendly, knowledgeable, humble, proud of his heritage and country.
We loved our scooter tour to My Son so much that we booked a further tour the next day! The second trip, in a 1975 US Army Jeep, took us to Marble Mountains, Monkey Mountain, Giant Lady Buddha, Hai Van Pass, Blue Lagoon, and a bonus gauntlet run through the HaiVan Tunnel.
Ben looked after us incredibly well. Nothing is a bother. He speaks very good English. He even knows some cracking jokes .. haha.
Great food, all entries, drinks, transport … all part of a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!! Thanks, Ben. You have been a fantastic host. Cheers.
